Screw drivers: Be sure they are JIS for the phillips ones.
Wrenches: You'll need some good ones. I think up to 22mm for doing axles. Sometimes you need the same size on both sides of a big bolt. (Engine I know) so don't be surprised if you need 2 sets.
Funnel for putting in oil.
Allen wrenches. get the ones with the ball end.
Torque wrench will need ends for sockets and allen heads.
Magnet on an extension for when you drop things where they shouldn't be
Flash lights and work lights

Roger guys, will do. Thanks and sorry for late reply, was stuck with my medical board exams. Bike has done 1500km & will be changing the oil on weekend with tab & the handy posts here on DIY  :thumb: . Should I start the engine & and ride the bike for 5 min's & then drain oil?? Ride strong ride safe & don't run into  :police:  ;)

Always better to change on warm oil cos it flows more freely, and change filter at the same time.
Use descent quality oil too.........oil is blood.

I can't recommend getting JIS screwdrivers enough.  They will save you the headache of stripping screws and needing to use vice grips, dremels, or impact drivers (in most cases), and the need to replace all those messed up screws!

The best place I've found to order them in the states is here -  http://www.rjrcooltools.com/vessel.cfm, but there could be other places.  I got the 1/4" bit set so I can use them with an impact driver as well if I have too.

and a pair of vise grips (10WR) along with a broken screw extractor.  (not for everyday maintenance but are fantastic when you need them)

JIS screwdrivers.  Never heard of them, but after reading about them, it makes me wonder if my screwdriver set has similar design elements.  They are 15 years old and like new still.  They have an unusual machining at the head to reduce caming (slipping out and rounding the screw).

Anyway, from what I read, JIS have advantages with smaller screws, but larger screws make no difference.  Still, I think it is a good suggestion to look for a set.  Cheapest I found was here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A7WAHTU/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B00A7WAHTU&linkCode=as2&tag=gstwincom (the link helps support the site)
