SO I bought a bi-xenon projector headlight for pretty cheap on craigslist.  :woohoo:

Got it for $60 missing the turn signal bulb sockets, and the CCFL inverter ($12 from ebay shipped and on the way now)

Problem is it came with no installation instructions and I know nothing about them.

Based on a couple of install tutorials on the interwebs for cars I drew up a super sophisticated ms paint schematic (not a proper schematic by ANY means).

Can someone tell me if this is right before I hook it up and try to power the thing?

Please and Thank You

Turns out this was right, hooked up and gave it a whirl, and here is the result.

Low Beam

High Beam

I should mention that the ones I have labeled High beam/low beam i assume get connected to the corresponding wires from the plug for the OEM headlight.

Now that I know how to wire it up, I will be figuring out how I want to mount it and run all the wiring. Im pretty excited.

The mount points for the light line up perfectly with the stock ears, but its about 3-4 inches lower than where I would like it, so I'll figure out some kind of spacer to raise it.

OR

Does anyone know of any aftermarket mounts to clamp to the triple that would mount higher than the stock? If so I will just pull the stock subframes and do it that way.

I came in a bit late to help......remember with posts like these it's always handy to have proper pics.
Having said that most HID setups are made deliberately idiot proof.
