Hey guys,

I dont know if you know about my situation that me and Adidas guy cannot figure out but I have stock dog bones and stock shock and stock knuckle (everything suspension wise = stock) yet the bike is much lower than any other gs's. The bike is an early 89 model. Long story short I am looking for some dog bones that are shorter than the stock dog bones so I can raise the rear end a different way. If anyone has one it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Jake
I am into buying bikes that people have given up on and fixing them up!

I got this set you can have if it will help you out. they measure 7 and 1/8th and 7 and 5/8 center to center. if you want them send me a pm with your address and i can get them out in the mail.

He needs shorter to raise the butt end of the bike up to where it should be.

There has to be another reason that the bike is shorter than stock.  I'm utterly confused by this....

We both are. We have been studying, measuring and everything else. We are baffled by it.

Thanks guys but I went ahead and bought some 6.720 links from burkhartcycle. Hope they raise it the right amount.

Did you try replacing the shock to make sure it is not blown? When my stock shock was blown the bike sat low. Also had no dampening so you should know if its blown by riding it.

Also could be different tire profile. I think stock is 130/80 so a 130/70 would make the bike lower.

He was at the Bike cave. Need I say more?
Replaced shock with 2009. Stock tire. Stock dog bones. Still puzzled by this. Crappy parts bike also has same symptoms.

Maybe the rest of Addy's bike just hold themselves taller.... Bike pride!! ... After all I reckon he does talk sweetly to them and tell them he love them often!! ..

They can't contemplate a slumped posture!
