Alberta clipper? Like this?

Current Stable: Suzuki DL1000k6, a Grom, two 70's vintage PUCH mopeds, and my kid's WR250R

slipperymongoose

Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

Testing... Testing... is this thing on?

You know pete, you seem to ride a lot, but also seem to tinker with your ride a lot too... How many miles/year is typical for you?

I ask because you always seem to be able to get out and test your tinkering quickly as well... Do you tinker because its an older machine you ride, or more because you like to do it?

... apology for random questioning, just wondered...

Ooh lots of questions! Only a short ride this morning, showering on the way back, about 160km's at a guess.

Why? Coz I love it!

As for riding/tinkering...  I put the bike back on the road December 2011, now have done around 25,000km's since then.

Some tinkering is due to age, some due to trying to get the most out of the little beast, and some because I like tinkering almost as much as riding most of the time...

Funnily enough I still don't ride as much as I'd really like to, work gets in the way...

That is the kind of demented social babble that the closet lefty's at that "Strom" forum are famous for. (but they don't do it as a joke:icon_rolleyes:
Now if we can get a few "Artists" to chime in with the Social Scholars we can start our own sub-forum here at LPW.

Yeah... It will be great!

Sub-forum rules:
1.) Must be over 50 years old (or act like it).
2.) Have 500 members but the same 4 or 5 dysfunctional old men control the tone of the entire forum.
2.) Must know all about motorcycles even though you don't actually have a shop, tools, or test equipment.
3.) Take one of the most trouble-prone motorcycles Suzuki ever produced and talk about it like it was a gift from the Gods.

Mister, Thank you for bringing me to LPW so many years ago.  You and LPW are the only sanity-check I have left.

Cool, Pete. Sounds like you really dig it all.

The cold I can do, the snow I can do... But this Effin wind! Guess I need to listen to another page from mister's book and harden up... Scuse me while I add another teaspoon of cement to my raw coffee grounds... Might take a little longer to get down...

I dig it all indeed!  :woohoo:

And you're problem with HTFU is right there... a teaspoon of cement will get you nowhere.  :dunno_white:

You need ground concrete to make your coffee with...  :thumb:
