Yeah there wasn't really any good reason for him to pull across and slow down was there? Must have had it in for old mate janxy!

how so? ... genuinely ... i know i made errors .. but .. tell me what you see as the stuff ups?! ... im treating this as a learning experience because ive been riding road only 3 and a bit years?... if anyone can advise on technical points... then thats cool... its my first moment of anything like this...

i know i shouldnt have been doing the speed and such .. but what about the moves pre wobbles... where/what should i have done?

and .... the bloke that pulled across... i should know better really... i know he can be erratic at times... i just didnt expect him to do it there.... he's more of a burnout and wheelie type ... good lad overall... just a bit excitable!

Options for you? Always hard to tell with gopro footage about the road and whatnot, but first thought to mind is, zip by him on the left side without the sudden change in your speed..

I can't comment on better riding techniques as I've only been riding for a year and a bit now. But I reckon I would've had the exact same reaction given those circumstances.

yeah .. the footage makes it look further away ... i thought i was gonna end up in his tail .. was reaching for the front brake... and moving left... but my right foot beat my hand to the anchors... tiny lockup on the rear at the same time it dropped into a slight depression in the lane... which .. i must admit.. the whole crew out last night... knows that left hand lane is wavy... so probably not a good choice by me to try it there in the first place.. 

if it hadnt started to wobble i intended to be back on the gas and complete the move on the left... the wobbles distracted me for some reason!!

Yeah no need to say how fast. Expirement with that mic placement hey lotsa vloggers use the ghost and I'm sure there are lots of setup videos. But yeah very Puckering there mate

No external mic .. Meant OEM/internal ... Got a little round bandaid over it though .. Which at least stops that weird electronic shriek the ghosts get with wind noise and internal mic ...

Won't mention speed in other vids ... But left it there for now..

Gonna go late night shops tmw and see what bits I can find ... Need HDMI to mini HDMI cable for TV/camera connect .. Microphone ... Gonna scope out some mounts .. So I can visualise easier what I want/need for mounting on bike etc...

I've sent the link to the gix1000 rider too ... See what he reckons eh

On not crashing ... Thanks ... I know it was lucky .... And it was over so quick ... But I did have time to think a bit in those few seconds ....

Started to tighten up in the grips to 'muscle it straight' .. And it got worse!! .. Had a instant flashback to a comment on here ... One of the Yankees? ... Dirt road/ice/slippery conditions I think ... "Let the bars/bike wiggle as it needs to.. Don't death grip it!! .. You'll likely get through ok" ... Or something very like that?... So I relaxed the tight grip and let the speed wash off a little naturally.... Still heading towards gutter but could visualise the clean getaway without crash... As it was real real close the wobble stopped and a little counter steer brought it back around ....

Don't claim to have thought my way out of it.... Not enough time as it was happening... But I think the whole nervous system/muscle memory/animal instinct type of thing reacted for me somewhat ...

Plus sheer good fortune!! ... Which reminds me... Must sacrifice a chicken!!

I see the bogan dip shaZam! has surfaced welcome back still full of shaZam! as usual get some meds.

But yeah good capture none the less janx. I'm jealous I would love a drift ghost have fun with it hey. Now me personally I record 720 @ 30fps and when I render Make sure my render is 30fps with 5400kp/s and as many bps on the audio too could we a quick day ride to see what your angle looks like?

I took a day vid today and a dusk vid also ... On commute into and out of work ... Just didn't have time to work on those... Will try fit it in tmw... The clarity on the day shots looks good on the laptop screen though.. For the 30secs I watched anyway!
