I gotta say I fear for the future under the coalition. Workplace relations and their maternity leave policies scare me the most, and in my electorate they want to demolish our public square (oldest public square in Australia) and put a multi-lane road straight through the historic quarter of our town. No good.

I'm all  about the gummint ... But the missus is labor to the core! ... Her dad (now passed) was also ... Father's Day last week brings him to the top of her mind ... Election this week with 'the big change' ... Well last night was tears and wails and snot bubbles and 'farkin suited up farken monkey farken bat eared farken wanker!!' ... 

I feel for her honestly...  ... But woulda thought one of the kids was terminally ill !! ... It was a definite tantrum!

How funny is this... each time... each and every time... a Liberal/Conservative in Aust gains power or looks like it, the negative memes and hatred spews forth from all corners denouncing how horrible everything will be. I don't see this volume of anti-Labor stuff coming from the conservatives however. So either....

a) Conservatives are generally nicer people and don't engage in as much lowbrow stuff
b) Labor/Left are not as nice people
c) Conservatives are too busy getting on with their life and being productive
d) Labor/Left are unproductive people looking for handouts and have too much time on their hands to create all this anti-conservative stuff.

I don't know. I hate them all - the Libs, ALP, Greens, Socialist Alliance, Palmer Party, One Nation, etc., etc. - it is just something I have observed over time.

Such as...

All through Howard's last term, the media (TV News, Radio, Newspapers) stopped calling him Prime Minister Howard and started calling him Mr Howard. A clear disassociation of the man with the office. As soon as Kevin07 was in, they began calling him Prime Minister Rudd - BUT - At his second go, even the media had deserted Kevin 07 and resorted to calling him simply Mr Rudd.

With the swing of 2010 added to this even further swing, we will now have the Libs for 2 terms unless they right royally fuckup, And let me finally say, with the poorest Labor performance in 100 years, something is obviously agitating the voting public (who was apparently smart enough to elect them in 07 but turn so dumb a few years later to oust them) against Labor. So instead of bemoaning how fuckingidiotic the voters are, take a look and ask Why they might have been motivated to vote the way they did.

I'm pissed cause my candidate didn't even get a mention. Sure, she's been dead for 22 years, but still....

PS: Chosing Person A to rule over me or Person B is not a choice as I am still left with someone ruling over me. A true choice would be to be ruled over or not. As we don't have that and only have the illusion of choice, we are left with a polarizing system designed to hide the puppet masters whom we never know let alone elect. Something to think about before you get all agitated over the above

Like I said before I still dont care.
Its not that I dont like Phony Scabbot as our PM its that I dont like him as a person. He is a confirmed lying scumbag and is not to be trusted. He is even quoted as saying "Dont believe anything I say unless it is written down" or something along those lines..Anyway I didnt vote and dont care who is "running this country" as they are all the same and there is nothing I can do about it right now.

Couple fun hours this arvo ... Vid time! .. Tried not to babble too much in at least one!!

Had to trash the first and longest one.. My silly mistake in not checking the camera angle when the helmet was on my head ... Only lined it up straight ahead when helmet was on a table... Which meant I got 30 mins of the bars and gauges and a couple metres ahead of road  plus me bangin on with chit chat ..l wouldn't have left it all in there .. Just annoying that I forgot to check before! .. There were a couple good sections!

Bit of editing to do this week ... I'm addicted to Vlog already!

Just saw Starship Troopers 4 (Invasion). A straight to DVD movie. Bad acting. And that's saying something considering it was entirely CGI - even the "actors".

Never got into that sorta stuff, was it poor acting even for a sci-fi flick? Must've been shocking!

Well, seeing as takes can be endless when the actor just provides a voice and no need to reset the set etc., then the acting was especially poor.

Jester, we have 4 year terms... in 07 Rudd got elected, then got kicked out by Gillard... then she got kicked out a few months ago and Rudd slotted back in.

Now it's election time, and Rudd was voted out.

Great big joke in the end and Labor screwed themselves over by not having stability in the party... now we have a misogynistic lying bastard in charge because at least the liberals/nationals have kept the same faces up front and the infighting down to a quiet roar...

Mind you, we'll be screwed either way so see what happens for the next 4 years... 

Mister has a point, it would be nice to be able to vote for no one to rule over us...
