Katana off was a low side...
And yep, damn shame seeing a Kat banged up!

EJ... Kats rock ok?
And yes, I will harp on until I get one.

So perhaps a photo so I can see what all the hub-bub is about?  :dunno_black:

I'll assume it was fast and handled rather scary when you pushed her hard in the corners. :dunno_black:

That's the one Janxy! And yup, good days indeed!!!

EJ, yes they go hard and will flex a bit but some strategically located bracing and a Macintosh or similar swingarm and a lot of those issues go away... I'm never likely to ride one hard enough to notice so probably a fork brace and good suspension is the most I'd ever need...

This is my favourite paint scheme of all the Kats:

PeteGS,
Seems like you got some mighty exotic taste in bikes.
How rare are they now that we are well into the twenty first century?
Museum stuff?  :dunno_black:
Certainly not on CraigsList.

Seems I have internet back. This happened last time. No net, called tech sup who arranged a service call. Day before service guy arrived - a week later - the internet is suddenly good. I cancel service call. Two days later, screwed up again. I should let me hair grow long so I can pull it out.

They're quite rare in the US EJ... hard pressed finding too many over on the GS Resources for example, but there are a few. Not many were imported unlike over here...

Typically on a big Katana Australia ride there will be 3 or more... Sunday's ride had 5 1100's and 1 750 Popup. I think about 9 or so was the most together at one time.

When I ride with the guys on Saturday mornings there's typically at least 2.

The big issue for me is the value is steadily increasing, so my already anemic Kat budget has much much further to climb before I'll be able to do the deed... and then it will likely be a project requiring more $$$ and time as I doubt I'll be able to afford a runner in as good condition as I'd like it to be... projects are in the $4 - 6000 mark usually, ok runners are in the $6 - 8000 mark, and immaculate ones... well... they just go up from there... this is for the 1100's by the way, the earlier 750's are a bit cheaper as they're less desirable, and the 750 Popups are a dime a dozen almost in comparison. I don't see the sense in getting a 750 though having ridden a couple of 1100's... mind you the 1100 donk slots straight into the 750 frame with some engine mount adjustments and is a direct legal upgrade here too... so a 750 rolling chassis and a spare 1100 motor would make for a nice project too  ;)

Mister... that sucks! But is so bloody typical... bet it's not your end at all but something in the Exchange (if you have ADSL)... that's what happens when they use ancient technology to run modern services...

Slips... have you considered that it's probably safer for you if you stop the commentary and concentrate on what's around you? Just a thought... no I still don't get the whole "VLOG" thing... I'd rather just ride...

Weather should be good this weekend, I reckon I'll try to get out on Sunday morning again... before the grannies start doing their Christmas migrations to the families etc.

Thing is too Pete weather the camera is on or not I notice this stuff and adjust my riding to suit. In the case of that postie van I got the f%$k away. Plus to a lot of riding is commentary riding which can be helpful. But it's horses for courses some ppl like it some don't.
