Make sure you keep your GoPro running until you get that fixed!
Thanks.

mebbe the mighty 450 is wanting to get in some stoppie practice? ..

can you start wearing a cape too pete? ... just so the superman over the bars has some style to it?  ;)

peteGS

Hahaha not the cape!

Only dragging at this stage, only notice while pushing it around and at very low speed... Just removed a cable tie that could be the culprit...

Thanks for your concern fellas! Hahaha

well it is concerning pete!! .. in this modern age of video recording ... it could prove interesting!!! ..

oh and ... i believe the caliper is meant to be held on by BOLTS .. not cable ties!! ... dang QLD rednecks!!  ;) :flipoff:

Electrojake

Didn't realize pete was a hillbilly.
Come to America, we love rednecks!  :icon_mrgreen:

Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

Janx101

Was you gone? .... So the magistrate made it a suspended sentence then?!

peteGS

Hahaha no hillbilly here! Cable tie was a guide only, bolts do hold the caliper on!

No improvement on the way home, in fact a little worse, may have over filled the reservoir? Bled again tonight, see how it is tomorrow...

IIRC .. A full reservoir doesn't make brakes drag?  :dunno_black:

I tend to agree... that little diaphragm in the lid is supposed to prevent that... grasping at straws here!

Otherwise the caliper's coming off on the weekend  :technical:

Showed a coworker a picture of my new GS

"So is that a crotch rocket?"

"No, it's a standard or a streetbike"

"But isn't a fast, low, Japanese bike called a crotch rocket"

"Uh....this bike isn't exactly greased lightning"
