Pipe down janx you'll rouse the drop bears and they'll put the smack down on you. Prototype stand has passed it's test and now ready for production

Pete,
What's with all the rain?  :dunno_black:
You must be a master of wet weather riding skills by now.

Actually it's been pretty light on with the rain so far this year compared to last year... but yeah I'm much improved on the wet roads than I used to be! Still no Anthony West of course...

And you blokes, if you've got blade fuses and they've been in for a couple of years you might want to get check them out... if the translucent plastic is getting hazy they may be burning out and about to fail. One of the Kats had that issue yesterday. His bike went dead, then good, then dead, then good... fiddling with wiring seemed to get it going but then it died completely. Pulled the main fuse out and that's what it was like and it finally blew.

Then on my way home, most of the way up to the top of Nerang-Murwillumbah Rd my bike started misfiring/back firing and the dash was flashing on and off and I lost so much power I had to pull over. Turned out I had the same issue... limped a further 100 metres up the road before I lost all electrical power altogether. Pulled the fuse out and the plastic separated from the metal... it was screwed! I didn't have spares either  :technical:

Fortunately I still had my aux power socket wiring installed even though I removed the socket and it has a 10 amp fuse so that got me home... I now have a 15 amp in there again and 3 spares in my tool bag...

Indeed Janxy! Would've saved me a bucket load of time and allowed me to go over Mt Tamborine instead of straight up the boring freeway...

Yeah yeah  :flipoff:

Using hand signals to indicate right turns sucks... very hard to do while braking and blipping the throttle to downshift  :dunno_white:

At least I won't have to do that tomorrow with the new indicator relay installed...

In Australia, does the rain go "up" instead of down?

Midwest snow is the coldest!
Aussie snow is the warmest.
Jersey snow is the filthiest.
Speaking of snow... Are there any Canucks here?
