A puzzling conundrum wrapped in an ironic enigma?!

under a perpetually confounding blanket!
I'll have no idea what piece you're referring to unless you include one of the following: Doobly doo, thing-a-ma-jigger, or dibbledy dop.

Inevitably! Perchance a chartreuse dromedary covering?

mennobike

Alright Janxie, you've got me. Googled dromedary, and it gave me pictures of camels. Whatsit?

Too many big words being used.  :nono:
Lets not forget that I work for the railroad, not NASA.

PS Janxie: Nice! That's a new one for me!

Ugh, getting old sucks... I found out the other week I need glasses... surprise surprise considering I'm finding it difficult to look at my screen all day at work and finding fine print hard to read and doing the old pull it further and further away, squint, and yeah I can sort of read it..

Apparently I have some little defect in my left eye as well, so off I go to get some glasses, that'll be 2 weeks they say. Week and half later I get them and I think wow I need to get used to glasses, everything looks weird!

When I look at my screen at work the left side of my monitor looks about 12 inches tall and the right side looks about 8 inches tall... WTF? Seems like my right eye is having troubles but my left eye is clear.... WTF?

Go back to the shop who did the test (not the shop who made the glasses)... oh, they put the scripts in the wrong eyes... idiots!!!!!

So now I am still without glasses and have to wait another "oh, 7 to 10 days... but we can try to mark it urgent"...

7 to 10? Fark thats slow! ... you go opsm? .... should go 'optical superstore' or specsavers,  7days max! ... plus they f%&ked it! They should automatic mark it Expedite!

peteGS

EJ... hahaha you funny f*&*&er... hahaha

Janx I got the eye test at OPSM but couldn't find frames that didn't make me look like George Costanza so I ended up getting them from the Optical Superstore... that's where the 7 to 10 days is.

And this time it's marked urgent, and it will still take 7 days at least... so "urgent" obviously means... well we'll try to squeeze it in for you despite the fact that it was our f*&k up... They got taken back on Monday and I called yesterday and she said... Monday or Tuesday next week... after quality control testing... WTF?? You mean you have quality control testing and *still* didn't get it right??? I guess quality control doesn't involve comparing the end result with the script...  :technical:

Ooooh now that was a bit of a vent! I feel slightly better now :D (probably because the headache trying to focus my eyes all day hasn't set in yet)
