p.s. this was a bit terrifying, still is tbh ( calling doc tom.) when i returned to hospital, i was weighed in at 151 lbs. today realising nothing fit anymore i checked weight again it was at 130. in 4 days time :O no more armstrong propulsion system for the wheelchair lol well still  do. but the muscle tone i had built up since the 12th is gone lol

I'd almost think this was all a big scam. A giant fictional thread, but I have seen the pictures. I know it's all too real. Wow.

have to see  bone doc.. weight down to 124 from my average of 151. i do believe id better follow docs orders and keep the right leg above heart level. cant risk breaking it. again. happens again idk if it can be salvaged. got to gain weight tho. saving up going to hit this asian buffet immediately below hospital. cant swallow burgers...yet. i made pasta and spicy meatballs last night. couldnt eat it. so i gave it away yeah that incident in the OR scared me like no other. funny thing about this weight loss im finding stuff from gradeschool i can fit in again

At this point in time would it not be advantageous to stay skinny until you heal a bit more?
Why try to bulk-up and put all that extra weight on your bones right now?

To heal well requires FUEL! ... not eating much means the body scavenges itself to provide fuel! .... eating both good food and reasonable portions is critical! .... 25ish lbs loss in a short time when sick is NOT an advantage! .... feed the machine Yama!

At 195 pounds myself, I was thinking less is better.
But yes, Janx may have a good point... Perhaps 124 pounds is getting a but too light for good healing.

It's not about the actual weight! .... it's the loss of that much while body under stress from healing/infection etc....

Can be a vicious cycle of body stores/energy scavenging to deal with most serious issues (as your body/immune sees them!) first! ...

Providing fuel/energy/calories in a recovery is every bit as important as medication and rest!

I take it i need to chill on the posting. im running over LPW. LOL. am up to 132.  been uploading weight via fast food. bad idea sure. but as fast as my body is losing weight seems like  sure fire way to gain weight. but bad idea as far as nutrition. frig cant eat more than one sandwich. stomach was not liking it. i cant swallow. no swallong strength. its like taking sacrament at church. cant swallow the bread. sounds bad when i have to gag to swallow.. will have to work on this. me and doc and GOD.  anyhoo, transferring this story over to O&E.. to leave LPW as it was. not involving me. contemplating starting a gofundme page. will get pics for it tomorrow. not pretty lol. will get the post op xray pics to go along with it. as well as post op xrays involving this ( pins plates and any needed repair pics) just dread any further needed repairs avoiding activity and such.
costs of healing and supplies are adding up. necessitating the gofundme idea.

You can load a lot of nutrition into soup/stew/broth also Yama! , just don't Fast Food your arteries closed eh?!

aye. leaving the fast food alone. its getting old. ate some fried stuff at hosp. was good at first then became ewwww. bout gagged. anyhoo.  finished doc today. go back  in 3 weeks. now got to work on income.bselling off my posessions. sinking financially. know anyone looking for a great av system? lol. anyhoo i need to leave LPW alone. ive hijacked it lol :"(. i started a thread in o&e and moving all updates there. pics will be  up within a few days. perhaps by sunday
