Ignore the shade of red coz it's fugly and I just found this on the Interwebs, but it's basically the scheme I'm thinking for the Kat... a deeper "redder" red will fix it:

.... today on the garbage truck I saw......

A twenty something lass. .. in cutoff denim shorts, bare feet, a killer cheeky grin. .., and a thin tshirt. .. with no bra. ... perkiness extreme with high beam!
....
And she was deliberately walking with a bounce in her step which made bounces everywhere! ....

..... that's when I ran over the bin in the laneway and had to call depot for a new bin! ... (bins get whacked sometimes so no biggie) ...

I.wish I was younger! ... or failing that. ... in Gor. .. with her in silks. ...

Readers of Gor will understand. ...

... she was "girl next door" incarnate!  ...

:/

peteGS

Don't know Gor but I know the rest  :thumb:

Let's face it, nobody driving a GS500 has enough scratch to be a sugar daddy (maybe we could start an offering for janxie??) :thumb:
I'll have no idea what piece you're referring to unless you include one of the following: Doobly doo, thing-a-ma-jigger, or dibbledy dop.

Bahahaha! .. thanks for the thought menno! ... when I comment on younger items its mostly wishful time travel ramblings for when I was young! ...

My "sugar mama" might get a bit tetchy if I was chasing wiggly tails! ;) Bahahaha

What he means is; If the Shelia didnt kill him the Mrs certainly would.

Pssst... I'm in the same situation. :whisper:

I hear ya brother! ...

... and today my treasured travelling companion. . Back pack of 20 plus years has made its final journey!  :( .. I may do an obit thread later..  it's still too raw right now!

peteGS

Oh no, did it spill it's guts???

At last some order in the shed... still pic's to come of the pins to support the compressor room door/workbench legs but I still too much crap at that end of the shed... cleaning time on the weekend so it can be put to use at last  :thumb:

Gradual mid zipper integrity failure (which like a geriatric hound dog I kept coaxing along despite the issues)...

But what killed it beyond sensible repair was being on my shoulder as I slid down from the truck cab, the  belly strap (normally tucked away when not using) caught on the compactor control box beside seat. .  70's era type steel cube with switches (weapons grade structure!) ..

Felt it catch and hung onto pack! .. my 130kg pulling down caused catastrophic wide spread seam failure. .. :/

It 'could' be sewn back whole again in a Frankenstein type way... but having had minor repairs done before I know it would be over 50 bucks for that and probably another 40? for same type zippers with installation. ...

And while it would last more years.. the repairs are never as good as original structure/ stitching I find!...

So... last night was late night shopping. .. I trekked around 6 shops/locations for a worthy and affordable replacement. ..

Got a "Kathmandu 'Transfer' 30 litre pack" .. normally 200 bucks! ... sale for 119 dollaridoos!  .. which was only 20 more than I had thought of spending for a "good durable" backpack.  .

It even has a tuckaway waterproof over-liner! .. and more pockets and hidden pockets than I had time to put my stuff in last night!...

Im happy with the new item. .  But still wish the old one was 'alive' !

Such is life eh!

Electrojake

Three itesm here. . .

1.) Sometimes in life we just have to "let go"

2.) Sounds like you got ten years of faithful service out of that old pac.

3.) Back packs became blindingly expensive since kids now use them for book-bags at school.
