Woooooooot for wiring!!! I've been working with that lately as well... just put a new dvd player in the Turtle Van and also figured out some of the wiring on the Spirit.

Wanted to see why the cd player in it wouldn't turn on anymore... checked the fuses... plugged in a spare I had... nothing. Turns out if you pull the dome light fuse (which I did months and months ago since I have the doors open a lot while working) it disables the stereo.

Also gave me a chance to clean up really well in the dash... and get rid of some old wires from past fog lights I had installed and other crap from people messing with my car when I wasn't confident enough to do car audio myself

Dome light fuse disables the stereo... yeah that sounds about right!

Wiring can be fun or tedious, depends what you're doing... if you're cleaning someone else's mess up it can be a royal PITA!

I'm lookin' forward to making the Kat harness, get to do it how I want it, but it will also be a learning experience as it's the first one I've done from scratch.
