I'm currently trying to future proof myself... learning new stuff for work... making my head hurt a bit but I'm getting there!

I'm what you would call a crusty old infrastructure guy... good at looking after storage, backup, and virtualisation stuff that lives in our own data centres, but the new world is all about the cloud (private, public, and hybrid) and working with CI/CD and devops type methodologies. It's all very interesting but a steep learning curve for me..

I'm sure that paragraph will give you lots to Google

im the person that will try to get the latest and greatest down the road a bit when its far cheaper. with teh cryptocurrency mining tho its pricy for a gpu. but found some stuff on the cheap. better than what ive got now. ( although its decent. ) im on a 4650 right now. the one im eyeballing is a 4gb card. a bit more ooomph

Cool... there's guys at work who drool over the latest stuff but I just don't get it any more... rather throw my $$ into the Kat these days but it's all horses for courses, everyone has their own hobbies and interests and sources of enjoyment

irony lol. watching a stormchaser thing on netflix. then i switch over just now. and hit accuradio. a song playing on the folk station, song called needle of death. ( rather dark, but im thinking damn, what a coinkidink lol

put a vanity plate on the fastest car in game. a retro 80s supercar. it says "imapnus" will grab a closeup of that one later on. i saw the time counter on game. i bought it idkk 5 weeks ago? and played 159 hours on it. which as of 4 days ago was 6.625 days solid. lol. break time on that one methinks.

Nice sunny weather for a nice ride out yesterday, really need to get chain and sprockets done of the 450 though, they're not feeling terribly nice or smooth at present...

lol i want. even has reverse lol. these engines dont have too much torque, i wonder how they got somethign with that much mass, moving without frying a few clutches.

keeping the door open and the heat on in here i drove my car pictured here. out to where my helo was parked, then using the helo, picked the car up and carried to the top of game office. (arcadius tower)  there was a bit of a battle at street level, the lag from the graphics card and fighting lol, was a bit stuttery ( made up word) anyhoo, i decided to see how far it would fly, sooooo i drove it off roof (25 stories up). landing was harsh lol. i survived , so did car ( yay realism) but other player we landed upon did not. he typed in  " wth happened, i said " you got donked" we both laughed about it.
