Yay update time!

Except for the right side where the Acewell is yet to be factored in, the harness is all sorted out.

Gotta figure mounting for my oil cooler and how to keep the hoses away from the headers yet. It will mean moving my indicators but no big deal, the same mounts I made will work.

And the stock rubber velocity stacks are on with Ramair sock filters.

Hahaha that's awesome Yama, you're gonna have to post video of that in action one day!

Cheers Showbiz! I was really unimpressed with how my 450's wiring turned out adapting all the custom bits and pieces to the stock harness and relocating the electrics etc., so I had to get a much neater result for the Kat. So far so good I reckon  :thumb:

Oh, and safety first! You'll see I always wear my good safety thongs while working on my bikes  :icon_mrgreen:

And cheers Yama! There are much higher bars set for wiring that I've seen, but I'm happy enough with that :)

Good deal, chaos is fun  :thumb:

Got the 450 serviced then had some time spare to do more on the Kat.

A bit of square section steel tube and some 2.5mm thick aluminium offcuts and the oil cooler mounting is sorted.

Modified the indicator brackets (drilled a hole) so they don't interfere with the side cover mounting posts and the indicators are good in their new home also.

I had to put the tank and cowl on today to figure out the horn location, so I decided to go a little further to get some motivation...

Intentional or not, the horns matxh the color scheme.

Haha yep! They're not the prettiest mirrors in the world but they are ridgey didge, true blue, genuine Kat mirrors so I'm sticking with 'em. Given I will be riding with others and in traffic at times, I rely heavily on mirrors in addition to neck twisting and eye movements, and they should give me some nice extra viewing angles  :thumb:

Only partially intentional Yama, but yep the horn colours fit in nicely too  :D :thumb:

My Acewell arrived during the week, so dash and bracket finished up, then those plus the horn and oil cooler brackets got painted up yesterday too.
