Yeah.
Rant on-
The guy who got hit at the rear tire, the one with the broken leg if I understand correctly? Sucks for him, for sure. But he all but "deserves" it. He put himself in a bad situation. We all take on more than a little extra responsibility when we use a mode of transportation that is inherently less safe than in a cage. We consciously ride defensively because the stakes are high. Extremely high. The one who was initially hit put himself in a very bad position. Just a few feet in front of a distracted driver. Don't we all, as riders, notice distracted drivers and give extra space? Don't we learn to predict drivers' habits and movements so that we can avoid potentially deadly situations? The initial injured party failed as a rider. Miserably. -Rant off

Totally agree, He was actually brake checking the SUV (what a dumbass) Still no excuse for the driver to run the bikers over and speed off though.

Lien was dragged from his SUV and attacked by a group of bikers, known as the Hollywood Stuntz, after a harrowing chase sparked when he ran over at least one rider — reportedly fearing for his family after his vehicle was surrounded.

Lien was released from a hospital on the night of the attack, lucky to escape with minor injuries, reports The Daily News.

The NYPD arrested one man, Christopher Cruz, in relation to the incident. He's charged with a slew of charges, including endangering a child.

Lien became a target of the gang while he was driving along the West Side Highway in Manhattan with his wife and 2-year-old daughter. The couple were celebrating their one-year wedding anniversary.

It's alleged that the erratic driving of Christopher Cruz (which included performing wheelies and sudden braking) drew the the frustration of Lien. Eventually the incident came to head when Cruz slowed down in front of Lien and Lien's vehicle struck the bike. The SUV was forced to stop, and bikers surrounded it. The 33-year-old, fearing for his family's safety, panicked and sped away from the group, hitting several of them.

2. He Was Beaten and Knifed in Front of His 2-Year-Old Daughter
The horrific attack ended in Washington Heights, where a group of bikers attacked the family, breaking the car's windows, dragging him out, stabbing him in the face and beating him. Lien's 2-year-old daughter sat in a car seat just a few inches away.

The bikers had fled the scene by the time NYPD arrived. Lien was taken to Columbia University Medical Center where he received stitches and was released.
