I don't know if anyone here listens to "The Pace Podcast", but it's really well done and generally informative and entertaining.  These guys definitely have the right idea (at least my idea of the right idea) on most things to do with motorcycling.  So, check it out if you haven't.

They are doing this Equinox to Equinox "rally".  Basically you get points for taking pictures of your bike in front of various things.  Here is the link to the contest page http://thepacepodcast.com/2013-equinox-to-equinox-rally .  I decided I'm going to participate, and today was my first day out.  I had a good time searching around my town for things on the list.  I think it would be awesome if we could get some more GStwin members participating.  They have galleries that are updated with everyone's pictures, and I'll post a link to my gallery here as soon as it is up.  I'll also be uploading my pictures to my own photobucket here.

I love the Pace Motorcycle Podcast! I'm pretty sure I've listened to every episode and this rally seems like a good time. Some great entries so far.

I'm just getting started with the cemeteries.  They are worth a good amount of pionts too.  I like riding around in the country and there are a ton that I've found on the map.  Historical markers can be fun too.  I like not having to deal with traffic to find a place to take a picture.

Really disappointed I didn't get out this last weekend and get some more pictures.  I was working my wife's '05 Nissan Murano brakes most of the weekend.  5 trips to Advance Auto Parts (they sold me the wrong part, then told me the right part would be there and it wasn't, etc. etc.), 2 trips to Napa, and about 5 times disassembling and reassembling the brakes on one wheel and I'm finally done today.

Well, I've been busy on this.  I'm up to 120+ pics now.  I've mapped all the places I've grabbed pictures of on this map:

Unfortunately, I think they have given up on posting everyone's pictures on the Pace's gallery, but I have...
My photobucket gallery:

I even got a few pics far away from home when I trailed my dual sport down to river county in Illinois for a weekend getaway.  It was fun taking it up the side of a hill to get a picture next to a secluded cemetery.  I've all but tapped out my hometown!
