Looks like I have a leaky bleeder valve on my rear brake. It's a very slow leak, just enough to make the threads and area around the bleeder look sweaty, and it saturated a small chunk or paper towel I left there overnight. Do I need new bleeder valves or can I use Teflon tape on them?

You can buy new valves at most auto parts stores. Have you tried to tighten it? You can always buy a replacement caliper off one of our members here in the classifieds who are parting out bikes

Looks like I over tightened it or some grit or contamination was preventing a good seat. Loosened it up until fluid started to sweat up from the threads, ran it open and closed a few times then seated it back, gentler this time. Seems to have done the trick so far.
