Front Brake Lever seems "tight"

Hi everyone,

recently i purchased the type 2 suburban machinery handlebars, after trying to fit them and finding the brake line wouldn't clear the tacho i put the stock bars back on and ordered a koso to fix the issue.

In the process though the front brake feels alot tighter at the lever. I took her out for a ride and i can still brake normally and safely, its just it feels tighter now (no play, the second i move the lever it's on the brake and the difference between light on the brakes and full lock is only a small squeeze.

any ideas what could have happened whilst switching the gear to new bars on the bike then going back to stock?
