I got a similar table at value city furniture that is round for around a hundred bucks with chairs that match. I don't think that table is worth what you think it is, it looks like patio furniture.

Goddamn that's a nice table. Don't sell it; keep it for posterity. Your great grandchildren could have the fortune to eat off that table.. Don't take it away from them. You have a serious piece there. I'd give my left arm for a table like that.

Your roommate is trying to trick you. He may very well be planning on keeping this table to analyze the construction technique and start churning out second-rate reproductions to the unknowing masses. He'd probably be a millionnaire in short order, leaving you out in the cold.

I swear if you part with that table, you will never live it down, and it will probably haunt you for the rest of your life. Don't be a chump.

Usually doesnt cost someone to get rid of a roomate. usually a glass of GTFO works. a wife OTOH those cost money to acquire/get rid of. ( legally or otherwise)

I've moved out, and now the dipshit can't figure out how to move the table to his dipshit brother's house to store it, so it's sitting on the house's front porch, with a lease that ends today (5/31). Landlord will probably move it to the curb. WOW

Yea, I asked him how much he thought it was worth, and he when around the question and said, "well we only paid $60 for it". So that's all he would offer. Anyways, whats done is done.
