As a new rider I just ordered all my riding gear, here's what I got:

DryRider Air rider Jacket

Shoei XR-1100 Helmet

Dryrider Air ride gloves

Dryrider kevlar jeans

Naturally it's to use on my new (to me) GS500F
What do you think?
What gear does everyone else wear?

I am not interested in anything you have to say
Don't bother talking to me, I will not answer you

Perfect selection :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Thanks,

Here's hoping it never has to do anything but look cool.
(admittedly motorcycle gear looks damn awesome)

Nice gear, shoei is a great helmet. I never used "Dryrider" gear, but looks great.

I wear only joe rocket(jackets/pants), but that's my personal favorite.

My current gear:
Joe Rocket Ballistic series jack (2 of them different models).
Joe Rocket phoenix Pants(hardly ever wear unless doing twistys).
Joe rocket Gloves.
Fieldsheer jacket (hardly wear it unless extremely hot out).

Vega helmets (2 of them).
HJC helmet(hardly any wind noise).

On normal riding like to and from work I only wear helmet, jacket and gloves.  You will never see me with out the helmet and jacket, even if its just going down the road to get a bite to eat.

I think that it's an Australian brand, all motorcyclists around here seem to know about it.

Also turns out it's spelled "Dririder", I typed it wrong even though it's right there in the picture haha

Great start, then you just need boots and leathers, you could go a 2 piece suit so you can seperate jacket and pants or have both a 2 piece suit and a one piece race suit.
Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

Good choice on the gear - beats the singlet, stubbies and Jandals / FlipFlops

Currently using the following:
Strada Jacket (Hi Vis version with Kevlar inserts)
Speed X leggings
Shark Openline helmet
Alpinestars gloves (should probably replace them soon since Winter arrived this morning)
Usually have some sort of capped boots - during winter I actually use safety gumboots to keep nice and dry  :thumb:

Having parked a few bikes on the side on asphalt, I have to say that good gear is worth every cent - my last Strada jacket saved my a$$ (well my elbow and arm actually)

Hope you never have to find out how good it works

When you say leathers does that mean leather pants, or just leather gear in general?

I had my eye on leather jacket like this for a little while;

But I wanted something better for all conditions, hence the dririder jacket.

For boots I'm currently wearing my steel cap work boots until some more cash rolls in, they cover my ankles so better than a pair of runners I guess.

I have three jackets and counting. I have an all weather one, a summer mesh jacket, and a leather jacket. Planning on a set of leathers, and a summer leather jacket

My mesh jacket is just for fair weather. For cold, the AGV jacket goes on, with insulated layer if needed. When the ambient temperature is above 95°F, the AGV jacket again goes on, with insulated layer. Mesh jackets in high heat are a bad idea. Convective heating is no fun.

Personally, I like to go riding in my speedo whenever I get the chance. Just like the oldspice guy.

Got 3 helmets Shoei, Scorpion, and Seven Zero Seven. I switch  lot between the Scorpion and seven zero seven. The Scorpion is white and pink and the seven zero seven is black. I have two Joe Rocket textile jackets and an AGV is leather. I also have two pairs of textile riding pants one with knee armor one with out. But, since it is Florida I really can't wear them except in fall and winter. So, I have jeans with Bilt knee protectors. Need to get better hip protection though. Finally, but very important I have a pair of Bilt motorcycle boots. I got these for $59 Motorcycle gear has smoking deals I love that place  :thumb: and I'm fortunate or not (gearwhore wise) that there is one close by so I can try stuff on!
