Thought this may interest y'all. It's a license plate frame that also functions as a secondary brakelight; it's got an accelerometer in it, so it detects engine braking and coasting, alerting other drivers where otherwise they may not know you're slowing down.

Sounds smart and pretty legit, the price to back it is $79.

i was thinking about this kind of thing the other day when i was engine braking on an offramp and i heard brakes lock up behind me.  very cool.
