ahhhh .. for free ... thats easy ..

next time you on a countryside ride... take a jar or bucket with you... you may see some bee boxes in a paddock somewhere? ... ok .. stop and get out your container... set it down for a moment... open your fuel tank and dip fingers in fuel .. smear a little fuel around on your clothes ... (bees hate fuel smell) ... then take container and walk over to beeboxes... smack your hand sharply on the lid to let them know the box is going to be opened .. then undo the strap or clips (if present) and lever up the lid ... pull up a frame and shake it about to loosen up the honey ... then use your thumb to push down through the honeycomb and let the honey drizzle out into the container!!! .. 

oh and when about 2000 guard bees start laying into you like demented divebombers .. run like hell!!! ... 

.... then afterwards when you have gotten over the stings... take your ass down to the markets and buy some .. you stingy ratbag!!

Meh. Cods getting banned seems to be a weekly occurence around here. Usually not accidental, either.

This being teh internets and all, people feel more free to be a duck than in their everyday face-to-face dealings with people.

I just wanted to put a personal request out there.

This is a wonderful, helpful site.  It is full of knowledgeable and friendly guys and girls.  I really do enjoy spending time here; it's a very relaxed place.  We can all be ourselves, josh one another, and share stories.  I like the playfulness, for example we all know the Ozzie's are loonies and the Brits don't brush the bugs out of their teeth after long rides with only a scull cap.   

When the playfulness becomes hatefulness it really bums me out.  I'm all about good energy and good vibes.  When I feel bad juju it gets me down, and I don't enjoy the site nearly as much.

So, lets all be adults (and I'm not singling out any one quarrel here, there have been several going on) and just get along and put the past behind us.  I recently had an altercation on here.  But it is 100% behind me and I don't hold a grudge towards the other guy, think any less of him, or read his posts in any other light.  I'm pretty sure he's done the same.  How about we all do the same?   

So, group hug?

Just curious ... have you been spending time in Odds n Ends or the Tard Farm?  I tend to stick to the General Discussion area.  That may be too much of an "all business" approach on my part, and it still doesn't guarantee a 100% civil atmosphere.  But hey, I'm 50 years old now ... I don't have as much time for "silliness" as I used to.

but .. translation .. "My Goodness!, this new fellow doesnt quite follow our conversation? Gosh, perhaps he should have listened more at school when the nuns were speaking! .. Golly Gee if the friendless chap cant follow the words on the screen then how on earth would he survive a conversation with the guys at the local Bar? , he would be turning around often in surprise , much like a hooker on payday! ... still I do think he is a smart enough chap so he cant be completely without friends? "
