06 Suzuki GSXR 1000  :woohoo:

9700 miles

CLEAN. Full Yoshi exhaust. Power Commander. After market rims. Custom seats.

Chain and sprockets look good. Front for seals are good. Rubber is excellent. Motor is dry.

Im going to stretch it out a bit until I get used to it to help it from lifting up on me

I am not interested in anything you have to say
Don't bother talking to me, I will not answer you

Hope you got plenty of points on your licence.  :thumb:

Dude be careful. Going from a GS to that is like a static shock vs. a lightning bolt. When I got my VFR it lifted up on me on the first day. I also have felt like I was going to pass out from the g's at times. You'll get the feel for it and wheeling won't be a problem. Don't let that power go to your head.

Are you keeping your GS?
Why are you looking here?

What kind of aftermarket wheels ?

weedahoe

I have no idea who makes the wheels or honestly even if they are after market.

I'm picking up a 12" stretch tomorrow to help keep the front down. It requires a 160 link chain. I will be selling the GS. I can't keep both nor do I have the room nor will the wife let me keep both

Great advice here. ive ridden a thou before. scared the fück out of me. but strangely addictive. glad it wasnt a keeper. everything i rode after that was a slug even my beloved gs compared to that thing. took a while to get out of that mindset.

It seems it has become necessary to qualify my posts:
I am/am not trying to start an argument. This post is/is not intended to be a personal attack. I am/am not merely attempting to present a different viewpoint.

Select the words that apply to you.

Its not going wheelie on you accidentally ...
And stretching it will just likely trade that for wheel spin ...
It looks awful ... its $$$$$ ... it handles like crap ... and its like hanging out a sign ... "I cant ride and ride aorund corners ... what corners" And "I'm afraid I have a little weeeenie that I bought this huge ass phallic symbol without knowing how to ride" and ... "I have waaaaaaaaay more $$$ than I have talent or sense"

Cool.

Maybe so Buddha, but I will gladly trade a wheel spin rather than it lifting up. Once I get acclimated to the throttle I might decide to bring it back in. The stretch isnt costing me that much anyway. I can always resell it.

Wont take you long to get used to its power. cornering will be affected. once shortened, youll have to get used to its new found cornering abilities as well

Yup ... and the Idiots that do that to sport bikes - usually when I see a guy who hasn't "stended" his but wants to ... those fools I encourage to do so.
I suggested to a guy that had a katana to do it ... His bike's transmission was slipping. He wanted to have stended arm, more than a working transmission.

Slack

How about instead of extending the arm you just don't open the throttle as hard while you learn the bike and power band  :dunno_black: shouldn't you be doing that anyway  :icon_question:   STAY SAFE
