So the previous owner of my 1990 GS cut up the tail and passenger footpeg mounts. I want to restore these, but I need the dimensions. I posted some pics to help describe the dimensions I need. I need the total length of the green line and then the lengths of the orange lines(I guess I should have made them different colors, but If you could tell me left and right that would be more than enough) I have no idea how to get these dimensions without measuring a complete bike myself and I don't know of any nearby, so if someone could help me by giving me these measurements(any form is fine I can convert) I would really appreciate it. If you have any questions or need clarification please ask.

Thank you very much!

I have a 1989 frame destined for the trash. I can cut off the back end and send it to you. Then you can match it to your frame and cut it to exactly fit. I can see by your picture where yours is cut and I can cut it off with an extra 6" or so so you have room to work with. All it would cost is postage.

Mailing it seems a bit costly. You don't think you could just measure the distance from right behind where the peg mounts are to the end of the bike could you? And/or the measurements of the peg mounts themselves? That seems like it would be easier than cutting and mailing it. Although it may be cheaper for me to get it repaired if I don't need them to fabricate a middle chunk(the PO made at least two cuts so there is some frame missing).

Ahhhhhh it took me a second read to see that's what you meant.(at least I think it is) I'll send you a pm.

Sorry to bring an old thread back, but could someone help me with those dimensions I was asking about? I mainly need the one for the tail section. I'm getting close to having the bike running and I want to be able to make this a full two seater as soon as I have the money to get it welded. I'm also very open to what adidasguy said before of cutting off a section of an unwanted frame (before the pegs if possible), but as I'm low on cash right now and just shipping would even be a lot I would at least like to get some dimensions. I really need the total length of the green line and I can probably go from there.

Thank you.

That junk frame had the peg brackets removed.
Will see about some measurements.
