Just bought a GS500!

I live in Clio MI, which is about 20 minutes north of Flint, which is about 1 hour northwest of Detroit.

If I had to guess I'd say I'm a good 2 - 2.5 hours from you including the trip across the bridge/tunnel.

Congrats on the bike, though. Take this time to do the maintaince stuff, change the oil, such like that. As long as you have a garage that is, and hopefully some sorta heater.  

Hey, tell you what. There are some pretty ok twisties down McKinley road just north of M-57. Not a lot, mind you, since it's pretty flat around there, but not too bad. Might be kinda fun to take the bike up there when it thaws a bit. I used to take my parent's subaru up there when they weren't paying attention.  :mrgreen:
