cut off??

is it possible to add a cut off for the gs500e? i love the sound of a bike in the cut off, i stunt my bike, and id like to find a way to do this?? basicly like a racebike thanks!

There was a post somewhere around here where weedahoe shortened the yoshi on his GSXR. I imagine you could grab a yoshi slip on and follow what he did. Or, you could get a short can with the proper diameter and just cut your exhaust pipe to fit it on. There are a few ways of going about it.

Almost any can, can be shortened. There are tons of tip and after market cans you can use also

Gotcha.

Rev limiters on bikes are controlled electronically. The GS5 doesn't have that type of computer system. Besides, normal street driving should not get you even close to a redline

Not many of us have use for them, so info on the is limited. Here is a fellow gstwinner that was selling his used rev limiter(had it previously installed on his track bike);
