My personal Automotive Service Business

Hey this is mngs500 my name is Zach and this is my last year in high school. I have a 2001 GS with nice upgrades.

Anyways I have lots of interest in becoming an Automotive Tech and starting my own shop. I have been working for a couple shops and just can't stand the dishonesty and prices of shops. So my plan is to start a business that offers high quality work with the lowest prices. I have my story on the website at zvisker.wix.com/minnesotamechanics. If you guys can help spread the word that would be great. I have been very active with it and I'm really trying to make this happen.

hope the costs you are quoting will cover shop insurance and rent. Please double check, though I like the idea of paying for just labor and having a tech install.. but have it pay for enough to pay for shop insurance and shop supplies and shop space and some $$$ for you to live on.

Im basing it out of garage and im the only one working on the cars so i dont have any expenses until i get big enough then i will look into a garage space

Insurance though. if you dont have it, look into it. wishing you the best. startups are always a gripe. but pay off if you do it right

best of luck and follow your dreams, its good to be young and know what you want to do. heck im 20 and still dont entirely know what i would like to do for the rest of my life. your S.T.E.P program is just like BOCES here in NY. they have all sorts of classes for junior/senior students like welding, auto tech, culinary etc etc
