I finally got myself exactly what I wanted (almost).

2012 Toyota Corolla S 5-speed 1.8L I4. 19k miles, Certified Pre-Owned.

Got a sweet deal on this car, about 3k under KBB. She drives like a dream.

The original car I wanted was a 2012/13 Scion TC but I couldn't find one in a 5-speed that was accessible to me (too far away). Plus, it was more expensive.

Anyway, here's a couple pics!

Don't mind me looking goofy. LOL

Heh - Cods is just jealous  :icon_mrgreen:

It is interesting to see how pricey Jappas are in the US of A - we get them dirt cheap here since most Jap cars are ditched after 3 years and sent to places like Oz or NZ for not much.. On the plus side they are usually reliable as..

Should last for at least another 100k miles or so.. being Toyota and all  :thumb:

Haha not.
The corolla is one if not the MOST reliable car ever made IMO
You should have that car for years to come. I have seen them with 3/4 million kms on them.

Agreed. Neighbor bought his daughter a 2004 Corolla brand new (auto transmission) back in 2003. She beats the piss out of the car (spoiled, obviously). She's wrecked it a couple times, drives it like she stole it, etc.. Anyway, the car somehow has over 230k miles on it. Original transmission and the only things that have been replaced thus far are the regular maintenance items and a couple catalytic converters.

Toyota's are the best. My Y2k 4Runner is pushing past 180,000 miles and runs and looks like new. Not a single thing has gone wrong with it....knock on wood. It really does drive like a new car even after taking a nasty hit to the front when I tried to run over the Chevy Suburban.  The only car better than a Toy is the 240 series Volvo.

Just change the oil in you Toyota and it'll run forever....or don't. My wife bought a new corolla in 94 and put 120,000 miles on it without ever changing the oil, so she says. She got rid of it because it would not pass inspection because it needed new tires  :cookoo:. This was before she met me of course.
Why are you looking here?
