WTB: GS500F Upgrade Parts

Hi Guys

I've only had my bike a few weeks but I'm going to start upgrading it and thought I'd just ask if anyone has any of the following parts that they might be looking to sell before I buy them brand new, preferably in Sydney or at least Australia:

1. Zero Gravity Double Bubble windscreen in Light Smoke

2. Full aftermarket exhaust system, I want to keep the factory one to refit later

3. K&N lunchbox air filter

4. Rejet kit to suit these mods

5. Clip on's

6. Suspension upgrades for front and rear

7. Heated hand grips

8. Digital dash/gauges

9. Fender extender

10. LED bulbs

11. HID kit or spare headlight for Projector HID conversion

12. Rear LED brake light

13. LED indicators

Any other common and/or recommended upgrades?

Something missing from the list is a braided front brake hose. It makes a huge improvement to the feel of the brake. It is also comforting to know that there is fresh fluid in the system. Who knows how long between when the bike was assembled and when it was sold.

Very good point, they've been very effective on my cars so it makes sense.

I have a few things in the spare parts stash you may like. I'm in Adelaide BTW

Clip on type upper triple with three flavours of bar risers. You will need to make/source some bars and a coat of paint but these are the hard parts to find. I ended up with an extra set somehow.


Trailtech Vapor with dash and all hardware. New never installed.


A spare pair of ProGrip 719 gel grips (Blue) and Oxford Carbon fibre tank protector. Even if you don't like blue I highly recommend the Progrip gel grips in a colour you like, they make a big difference if felt vibration
