Mystey gasket in the clutch cover

Hi,

I noticed an oil leak front right side. Suspecting a failed gasket, I ordered one from Bike Bandit and I'm now replacing it. After removing the clutch cover I noticed that there was another much smaller gasket inside of the cover (see image, it's to the right of the shaft hole).

I can't find the gasket in "crankcase" or "crankcase cover" schema. What gasket is this? How important is it to replace? It looks okay, but not very good, parts of it is definitely gone. I'm afraid it would make a mess in the signal generator if oil would leak through the bolts.

Also, any tip on removing the gasket? I've been using a utility knife and degreaser. I can't go too hard on the knife otherwise thin slices of metal get shaved.

Thanks,
Eduardo

Replying to my own post to say I'm not a smart man. Just realized it's actually part of the main gasket. Still interested in tips to remove these gaskets.

If its a paper gasket patience and a knife. Try carb cleaner, then try a toothbrush and acetone.

If its rubber remnants acetone is usually best.
