I have an '06 GS500F that I rebuilt last winter as a project.
8900 miles, everything is perfect, ride it away!

NGK Iridium plugs
R&G Frame Sliders
R&G Bar End Sliders
K&N air filter
Race Tech front springs
Pirelli Sport Demon Tires new this season, maybe 200 miles on them.
Driven Dual Density handgrips.

Everything is clean, tight and freshly lubricated.  Used Silkolene chain lube and engine oil.  Bel Ray fork oil.  Springs are .90 for 200+ lb rider, but I have the factory springs and spacers if you like.

Bought crashed, have an '01 Suzi Bandit 600 frame and title that I will include in the sale.

I am so incredibly surprised at how such good bikes are so cheap in the USA 

Something like that would sell for at least $4500 here in Australia. You'd probably have 3 buyers contacting you in a day if it was priced at $5000.

Nope $1700 is definitely an unusually great deal here in the states as well... Although nowhere near the $4500-$5000 for Australians.

Also, had to check my driveway because that is the spitting image of my own! (white plastics, sliders, no decals)

Oh yea, americans are obsessed with "new"
They would buy a new GS over the same 2 yr old bike for 1/8th the $$$ ...
Of course they also can only think in terms of how much a month ... if they have to come up with a few 1000 to avoid 5 yrs of 200 a month of bleeding, they will run like hell ...
They dont know interest rate, they dont know nothing ... only how much a month.
