Maybe next to Olly's Yamaha.
Next time you're here, we need to get a picture of 4 bikes for a Yama-Hon-Kawa-Zuki photo.

Haha will do, your back home now right? Lovely weather we are having...  :dunno_black:  :2guns:

That would be hilarious if you got a beemer for the bike cave. You would have to keep it outside!

Or just drop the '500' from the West Seattle GS500 Bike Cave.... West Seattle GS Bike Cave... might cause a few 'backfires'  :dunno_black:  :icon_lol:

I know right!? Well, I have to re order those case savers due to the seller giving me a refund and me waiting for him to get them finally and then I can resend the money.

Also heres some things I need in order of priority:

- Rear EBC Organic brake pads: $28 Purchased and awaiting arrival
- Alpinestar SMX-5 Boots: ~$215
- Woodcraft frame sliders: ~$50
- Track fairings: ~$250
- Vortex rearsets: ~$280
- New exhaust (single pipe): ~$250

I will probably buy the boots soon, gunna go try some on today. And I was told of a super deal on some vortex rearsets, but I cant buy them right now lol...

For now I am just sitting and enjoying the rainy Washington weather :( :technical: :2guns: :police:  :o

Looking for you of course,.....

I'm down in Houston good sir.  Where tree rat squirrels like to burrow into your attic insulation and DIE, causing roadkill odor to seep into your wife's closet, where she freaks out and commands you to crawl through small attic spaces breathing rancid dead squirrel stench, till you give up and cut a hole in the ceiling to find the carcass with its evil rotting smile glaring at you and its curled up stinking little paws in double f u frozen rigor mortis gestures causing you to put all your weekend time and energy into fixing the closet and not being able to do crap on your GS project bike.  whew,........farg  :embarrassed:

Nothing new really except for the seat cowl, and the fact that I ordered seemingly tons of parts lol.

Seat Cowl:

And after a very long wait, the R&G case savers finally got shipped out from Italy and will be here Monday. Yesterday I decided to purchase some gold vortex rearsets and a banjo brake light pressure switch, renthal med compound grips, and an oil filter for a future oil change.

Heres the rear sets. I want to also buy a rear reservoir before doing the swap, but I might just have to do a res delete, a cheaper option.

You've been hanging out at the West Seattle Bike Cave too much.

^ and Sunday was the last time I saw him...

I have a little update, just been hard being on this forum lately let alone thinking of updating my thread with what happened to Patrick.

So, the most recent updates is R&G case savers, vortex rearsets, street bikes unlimited frame sliders, and rear reservoir delete. I also changed my oil and filter and replaced the rear brake pads. Heres some pictures,

Overall I am very satisfied. The shifter side is not finished yet as the used kit I got was missing 2 small pieces that are ordered and in the mail, so I havent been able to ride this weekend.

Parts from McMaster worked perfectly, so I got the rearsets installed yesterday and rode around today, was great. I decided to go with GP shift, only messed up a few times the whole day. It was easier to get used to than I expected. I find myself accidentally shifting to neutral when going from 1st to 2nd gear in a corner, guess I just have to push a little harder down.

The only downfall is that I can't access my kickstand with my foot because the shift linkage is all in the way with the gp setup, so I have to reach down there and put the kickstand out. Any thoughts on how to fix that?

Heres some pictures! I liked em so I figured I would post em! Enjoy.
