FYI valve shims

I am sure many of you out there allready know this, but I will say it anyway. When doing a valve adjustment make sure you measure the shims with a micrometer or caliper. Yesterday I had a shim marked 2.60x and after measuring it I found it was 2.645mm in thickness.

This is just a warning. It could possibly send someone off buying the wrong shim. (like I did)

I wonder what the x ment. Ha...maybe out of tolerance?

Anyway....BEWARE!!!!!!!!!
