ok, it would seem suzuki gave up on the .5 and 1.0 overbore stuff according to Bikebadit (no listing anymore) and the one shop i deal with that doesnt screw people(no listings in new books)    does VHines or wiesco have a site/1-800 number to see if they still make them?

the old listings for 1mm overbore wont sell rings without the piston sposivly 85$ for set, sounds fishy, i think thats each. and rings for stock piston are 28$ perset.   can anyone do better then these prices?

i have a set of new 1mm over pistons, no running time at all,but rings were stuck from sitting waiting for the rest of the bike to be assembled (which it never was by the time i bought it)  now i have fresh bored cyl, and new 1mm over pistons and am in need of rings   HELP!  would seem that gs1150 uses 47mm bore, but rings are diff thickness, seems the 500 uses some really thin rings.    wonder if the ring lands could be safly cut to allow for thicker rings.

The rings start about page 81.

V&H don't have anything to do with pistons and such any more, just exhausts.

I've found JE Pistons to be way more helpful than Wiseco:

I bought 1mm over pistons and rings from Suzuki about 3-4 months ago.
didn't seem to be a problem getting them.

Just checked a set of Suzuki rings to see if they fit my JE piston.
NOPE :(
The Suzuki rings are thicker. Which means the JE rings would be too loose in the piston ring grooves. They would flex and twist too much.
JE ring thickness= .3855, Suzuki = .4620-- .0765 thicker
