Hey guys Happy Memorial weekend have fun be safe, and Thank a Vet.
Being a vet from Afghanistan myself I have seen Soldiers, Marines, Airmen and Navy troops pick up a slight pep in their step when appreciated.
I'm not asking for a thanks for me but I am asking to thank a vet you may know or pass by jus for a little recognition and let them see that they are appreciated.
                              Happy Memorial Day

My family ancestry has Vets dating back to the Revolution, including one in the Maryland Line (Old Line State) that saved Washington's army from capture in New York. Family dates to 1625 in Saint Mary's County, Maryland. Both sides of the Civil War and even a doctor in the 7th Cavalry post Custer. Pop was a B17 pilot in Europe, flew 30 missions from 11/24/43 to 6/6/44. Older brother was in Nam with the 1st Marines.

I regularly thank service members and see the increase in bounce in their step. Nephew is going inot the Navy to be a machinist's mate in nuke subs.

Thanks to every vet, everywhere, even those on the other side.

regards
Mech

Somebody on another forum I check out, posted a link  to a vietnam store on Ebay that is selling dogtags from vietnam era http://stores.ebay.com/Vietnam-is-be...=p4634.c0.m322 .  Pissed me off seeing that.  Don't click if you don't want to see it, but I sent it to a vet I know and he forwarded it on.  I just feel it is wrong to be selling American soldier dogtags this way and if anybody knows somebody who can get these guy's business shut down, well can't happen soon enough.
