HELP! Forgot to hook up seat latch cable.

I took my rear fairing off to re paint it and when I put the bike back together I forgot to hook up the cable to the seat latch and now I cant get the seat off.   How can I unlatch the seat?

Someone else ran into the same thing a couple months ago. Looks like you can just unbolt the rear fender from below to access the seat lock.
