Wanted - 1992 GS500 Gas Tank

Looking for a Gas Tank for a 1992 GS500. I believe the tank is the same from 1989 to 1996. Color is not important. Condition of the inside is. The tank can have a few dings but no major dents. Thanks in advance

I have one, but it will take some work and patience to get it right. The PO rusted then poorly coated the tank. I made things worse when I drained it to fix a dent and paint it, the rust and coating got worse and the coating started to peel. The exterior needs new paint and the interior needs a muratic acids and bb bath. It's a tank from my 92. I ran out of patience and bought a new one.

I ended up buying a 99' tank from parts outlaw.com. Not sure if they had it in stock but tried to order a 92 tank, which was discontinued.  I originally tried to first have a radiator shop fix the original. A couple of them quoted $300. So I figured spend the extra and get a fresh tank.

Did the 1999 fit without any mods? ...`cause I thought 1996 was the last year for that shape of a tank. And how long ago did you purchase the tank ...I might give them a call ...my tank has started to leak ...again!
