Help! need to figure out these hoses!

I recently bought a new engine for my 04 gs500f. I will attaxh a picture of two black hoses coming out of the header that I can't figure out what they are.  They are right under where the exhaust comes out of the head. MY old bike doesn't have these under the exhaust. Does anyone have any idea what these are I have searched parts sites and found nothing. I am doing the engine swap tomorrow and would like to know what these do.

 If I remember right, they're for the PAIR system, an emissions thing. I think there are block off plates that you can buy somewhere.
