Hey.

I brought a GS500F New from the dealer, Shes 4 months old. Just hit the 4000km mark.
I went for a 300km round trip on it Monday it was fairly warm weather on the way back. Stopping half way for over a hour. I have just noticed that theres something leaking out of the capped overflow pipe. What is it? I wiped it off before i took the pics. but its the capped pipe. It pretty oily. Any ideas anyone?

Its ok to have it a little oily.    Not too much though..  bike seem to be running ok otherwise?

Yup. Shes running alright. The only bad thing is my speedo is reading 120km, when im doing 110km on the highway. Ill shoot in past the suzuki bike shop here and have them fix it up, Thing is the closest Suzuki dealer is 200km away.

There is no fix for the speedometer (at least not from the dealer).  They are all off by almost 10%.  Some brave people will make a new gauge face for the speedo.  Or you can eliminate the stock one and go for an electronic Koso or Veypor .

A 110/80 instead of stock 110/70 front tire will cut the speedo error about in half.
407,400 miles in 30 years for 13,580 miles/year average.  Started riding 7/21/84 and hung up helmet 8/31/14.
