Gas tank rusted or just dirty?

Trying to diagnose some issues, looks like I might need a new tank?

You can try cleaning the tank first? New tanks are expensive; can try cleaning and sealing first.

well anyways,... I've put some bolts and nuts in there with some gas and shook the buddha loves you out of it.  This worked ok but had to do it a few times.   Also done the rust electrolysis which worked great for me for rust issues.
