Surface mounted led signals that are actually aimed?

So here's the story: on my GR650 I have some integrated front signals in the fairing mounted mirrors. After putting on about 30 miles or so, I can say that I'm not very happy with the view from the mirrors, and I know the signals aren't very bright at all.

Looking around on ebay, I found thousands of cheap mirror / signal combos, and thousands of reviews basically saying that I'll have the same problem = terrible mirrors and dim signals. I'm thinking about going with bar end mirrors, but want some low profile (surface mounted) front signals. Problem being, most of what I find are basically some leds In a plastic housing that are glued to the surface, and the light emitted is scattered - not aimed forward.

Anybody see and decent surface mounted signals somewhere? Obviously no skulls, iron crosses, whatever.....
