Throttle Cable Routing?

So as you may find in my post history, I have a beaten up 1994 GS500e and I recently got a ton of parts for a 2002 GS500. One of the newer parts I'd like to put on the 94 is the carburetor and all the handle bar controls. Now here's my question. I got the handlebar controls to mount no problem, but i cannot for the life of me figure out how to route the two Pull-Pull style throttle cables to the carburetor without significant resistance on the cable housing. Can anyone explain it to me or show me a diagram or an example of how it should look. Any help goes a long way.
