Hello all,

I am selling my stock carburetor off my 2009 GS500F with 37,000 miles on it. Took them off my bike to clean them, but I made a few foolish mistakes.

First, I removed the butterfly valves. I was able to get them back in, but I had to grind off the end of one screw. Then I decided to put blue thread lock on the screw that I damaged, some of which got into the barrel of the piece that runs through both butterfly valves, causing the whole thing to seize. I removed the thread lock and it now rotates, but it doesn't rotate 100% freely.

One of the tabs that connects to the vacuum line (I think that's where it attaches) on the tan/yellow is broken.

Lastly, the nipple that attaches to the vacuum port on the left carb is damaged and is missing the little clip that holds it to the port.

The only reason why I'm selling this is to put it in the hands of someone who has far more experience and who knows what they are doing. As it stands, these carbs are NOT suitable to put in a bike, but if you have access to replacement parts and have extensive knowledge of this carburetor, then this is probably right up your alley.

Here are all the pictures that I took of the carbs:

I might put it on ebay, but for now, please feel free to make me an offer.

Thank you!
