New Ignition and Gas Cap

I'm buying a new/Ebay ignition and gas cap that says it fits 2001-2002 GS500 according to the seller.  It should fit a 92 I'm hoping, is that true?   Thank you

Identify the parts and note the numbers
Then find the relevant drawing for a '01
Identify the parts and note the numbers.

If they are the same number the parts are interchangeable
If they are not the same the differences may be cosmetic or not significant and MIGHT be interchangeable.
