Tyres: Avon Spirit ST

Hello all,

So the time has come around where i need to get a new front tyre. Since i bought the bike its had a roadrider on the back and a battlax on the front, both very common, very good tyres. So i basicly opted to get a new roadrider front just to have a matching pair but what arrived was a spirit st. From what i've read its a new higher end touring model and appears to be getting good reviews but i was woundering if any of you guys have got experiance  with it or opinon about it.

The Spirit ST is a high performance radial and the Roadrider is a bias ply tire.  Radial front with a bias rear is considered a bad mix. I wouldn't do it.
