Carburetor carb intake rubber boots, both sides.

You have to use the original, you're talking about carb to head right ? then yea original. Carb to airbox - dunno if anything else will fit, there you may have to buy a used airbox, people are tossing them by the million.
Cool.

Just buy new ones. They are not horribly expensive and it's a common cause of hard to diagnose running issues.

Up here in ol Canada I cant seem to find anything less then $60-80... Figuring that may be a little too steep in price

mr72

Well they were $40 each when I had to replace one. It's expensive enough for you to not just replace the for no good reason, but if you have one that's cracked or coming apart there is no other reasonable solution.

Oh... Ok, thats actually comforting.  Guess I was thinking a low ball price before I even looked it up.  Thanks for the perspective

The Buddha

$40 USD seems steep. Was more like $20 last time I bought one, back in 2009-10 I think.

I agree. Mine was $40 charged by the shop who replaced it along with the top end rebuild. I'm sure you can find the for half that or less.
