Would it make sense if I splice in a Y shape hose adapter so that the fuel from the tank goes into the Y, then one fuel hose, onto the fuel shutoff valve and finally onto the carbs.  I ordered a petcock online and.. way to big, so i figure I can put a Y or T shape brass adapter onto the reserve/on fuel hoses.  Definitely getting rid of the stock vacuum system.  I tried to give it a chance and everything but I run 40 - 147.5 - Twin Cold Air intake routing to a front scoop and a Slipon. I have fuel starvation and I need flow and consistency from my fuel.  Mikuni BST33SS (SlingShot) carbs are great, I want to give them the freedom they deserve

Link above is the Ram air box and scoop Idea.. Works extremely well when Im not starving for fuel.  Absolutely noticeable with 94 octane and a 1/4 of seafoam.. It growls like a beast with the slipon and is very responsive on the throttle.  I know its not how its suppose to be ran...lol but this gs500e has great potential with a few tweaks, mods and weight reduction (fairings, exhaust, footpegs, aftermarket tail/light/plate mount)..speedholes...jk   Just notice at higher speeds the fuel is cutting out... even on prime.
Another good one is this of course;)
