I replaced most of my gaskets on my bike and nothing seems to leak, except for the oil pan.  Could I use permatex ultra black gasket maker with the gasket to insure that I have no leaks?

Is that a silicone sealant? I would advise against a silicone sealant.
I use locktite No3 aviation sealant. It's non hardening and cleans off with thinners. Use it sparingly though it can become messy if you use too much.
A couple of weeks ago I had my left hand side cover off and used aviation sealant with no gasket at all and I have no leaks.
No matter what i do to it, it's still a GS
It's not how fast your bike is, it's how long you are prepared to hold the throttle on.

You shouldn't need any sort of sealant on that joint and with silicone there is always a chance a sliver will break off and maybe lead to internal damage.

Go back, check the mating faces are clean and there is no damage, cracks of scratches. Check the pan is flat with a straightedge or on a sheet of glass. Check the gasket isn't ripped and that all the bolts are correctly done up.

I'm agreeing with sledge. When I replaced my oil pan gasket last year, I made extra extra sure both surfaces were perfectly clean and smooth. Replaced the old gasket with an OEM Suzuki one and everything has been great since.

After carefully cleaning the faces I used flexoid gasket paper with regular blue gasket sealant to good effect. No leaks.

Make sure you purchased the correct oil pan gasket. If I recall there are at least 2 different versions.
