Well first 150 miles went well after getting this 1993 GS500e purchased in parts from a Shed at the back of a property for 6 years with good title.  After finally getting it reassembled as a COVID project, inspected and back on the road after a series of eBay, Amazon and Craigslist parts finds it seems to be working out.  Starts in cold weather just fine.  Interesting ride compared to my 04 GSXR1000, my last 500cc was a Seca 550 from back in college days.
Basically this cycle will be used by my 19 year old daughter but I am putting a few miles on it to make sure it is safe while she is at University.
Thanks again for all of the GStwin posts that helped along the way on the assembly and maintenance.
Best Wishes everyone.  New year, new president and new life on a old GStwin.

Two feet, two wheels seem like a evolutionary natural selection

Hopefully the gs stays as clean as it is now! Very nice bike. If you have not done that yet, it is good to tighten cylinder head bolts according to manual pdf and check the valves. Those belong to the periodic maintenance schedule at every 6000km and at least the head bolts are commonly forgotten!

I love that you've got the later style bigger tank. I want to do that same thing some day!

Very nice! And that GSXR looks like a nice clean example a well. Enjoy the ride(s)!
